From 30 April 4 May 2003, the Association together with the Initiative Group of Landscape Architecture and Space Management Students as well as the Landscape Architecture Department organised II International Seminar and workshops entitled "Landscape Architecture and Space Planning as a basic element of home species protection - planning successive stages in the open-air". As in 2003, the seminar and the workshops took place in research rooms of the Centre for Evaluation of Natural Resources of the Landscape Architecture Department of the Warsaw Agricultural University in Tuczno. The following participants appeared in the seminar part:

  • Prof. Jan Rylke - Needs of A Man As an Organism Living in the Wildlife
  • Prof. Hanka Zaniewska - Specific Features of Polish Rural Architecture
  • Dr Dariusz Korpetta - Local Government and Space Planning
  • Dr Sylwia Kulczyk - Divided Space. Landscape Borders and Its Importance to the Environment and Human Activity
  • Prof. Michael Abs - The make up of a forest bird - Adaptation to successful birdlife in pine forests.
  • Prof. Marek Budzynski - Sacrum in commoness
  • MSc. Jaroslaw Malczyk - Attempts at using space information systems in research on certain animal species occurrence in the "Krzywda" area
  • MSc. Katarzyna Szyszko - Butterflies of the "Krzywda" area
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko - Managing natural resources by means of home species protection.

The outdoor part of the seminar, consisting of registering the occurrence of certain species of birds, amphibians and insects were conducted by: MSc Katarzyna Szyszko and MSc. Katarzyna Pilch and MSc. Aleksandra Skrok from the Centre for Evaluation of Natural Resources. On the last day, an open air painting was held on the area. At the end of the workshops an exhibition presenting, on the basis of sketches and pictures, how the "Krzywda" area works.

From 16 to 19 October 2003, in Tuczno, the Association together with the Academic Centre of Ecological Education and the Laboratory for Evaluation and Assessment of Natural Resources of the Landscape Architecture Department organised a conference entitled "Protection of the Atmosphere in Poland and the European Union and global climate changes". The participants read the following papers:

  • Prof. Jan Szyszko - Sustained development as a chance of economic development in the European Union
  • Dr Krzysztof Platek - Economic and natural description of Polish forests
  • Dr Krzysztof Platek - The role of forests in lowering poisonous gas pollution
  • Dr Krzysztof Platek - Ecological engineering possibilities in the forest environment - presentation of research rooms of the Laboratory for Evaluation and Assessment of Natural Resources of the Landscape Architecture Department in Tuczno.

From 7 to 9 November 2003, in Wisla, together with the Academic Centre of Ecological Education a seminar was organised, entitled "Clean production in Poland and the European Union".

On the basis of the cooperation agreement with Teatr Nowy and the Landscape Architecture Department, the Association organised the following exhibitions:

  • 6.06 - 6.12.2002 - an exhibition of Landscape Architecture students paintings. The group was directed by Prof. Dr hab. Jan Rylke
  • 7.12.02 - 19.03.03 - an exhibition of the Initiative Group of Landscape Architecture Students, entitled "Landscape Architecture as a basis element of native species protection - - landscapes and their functioning"
  • 18.03- 19.04.2004 - "Sights of Warsaw" exhibition: Jeremi Krolikowski and Jan Rylke - painting, Teresa Tyszowiecka-Tarkowska - music and film

The Association was represented by its members or it sponsored its members appearances at many conferences, symposia, and meetings during which the following papers were delivered:

  • Prof. Jan Szyszko "Educational aspects of ecology teaching (12.04.2002 - the Salesians secondary school in Pila).
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko " Can sustainable development create new job posts" (23.05-26.05.2002 Venice, session of the Europe s Episcopate).
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko "Natural national resources - facts and fiction, possibilities of using them in economic development" (17.06.2002 the Association of Friends in Pila).
  • Prof. Marek Budzynski - Architecture in South American countries. Invitation of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Warsaw Agricultural University (4.03.2003).
  • Prof. Marek Budzynski - Architecture and Nature. Invitation of the Landscape Architecture Department (11.03.2003).
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko - The state of the environment in Poland on the threshold of the EU accession (chances and fiction). Invitation of the Architecture Department of the Warsaw Technical University (5.05.2003).
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko - Education and formation for a sustainable development CCEE Fifth consultation of those responsible for environment. Wroclaw 15-18 May 2003.
  • MSc. Katarzyna Szyszko - Landscape Architecture as the basis of home species protection (report on 2nd students workshops Tuczno 2003). Fifth consultation of those responsible for environment. Wroclaw 15-18 May 2003. (the report was sponsored by the Association).
  • MSc. Aleksandra Skrok - Possibilities of using natural resources for creating of new job posts as exemplified by Tuczno region. Fifth consultation of those responsible for environment. Wroclaw 15-18 May 2003 . (the report was sponsored by the Association).
  • MSc. Tomasz Zygmont - Description and estimation of natural resources as the basis of sustainable development policy. Fifth consultation of those responsible for the environment. Wroclaw 15-18 May 2003 . (this report was sponsored by the Association).
  • Prof. Jan Szyszko - Sustainable development concept - utopia or a real chance (introductory report for a panel discussion). Days of the Earth - sustainable development concept (Krakow 25-26.10.2003).
