The Association cooperates with the Warsaw Agricultural University and with the Warsaw School of Economics within the Intercollegiate Postgraduate Studies of Evaluation and Assessment of Natural Resources, supporting publication of many works, sponsoring participation of its members in many events, and taking part in teaching classes. Within its statute activity the Association takes part or took part in the following contests: Leonardo da Vinci European Union Programme. Project. The Association helped to support financially: Stay and participation of ten students from the Warsaw Agricultural University and the Szczecin Agricultural University at X European Carabidologist Meeting on "How to protect or what we know about Carabid Beetles". Participation of a group of over a dozen students in I and II workshops entitled "Landscape Architecture and Space Management as the basis of native species protection" J. Krolikowski`s painting exhibition entitled "Poland Genius Loci" (Chicago, 26.09-26.10.2003) Participation in the Intercollegiate Postgraduate Studies of Evaluation and Assessment of Natural Resources (one person) In the period included in the report, there were two General Meetings of the Association Members and 12 minuted Board Meetings. The Association consists of 33 members. Work of the Board of the Association was devoted to organisational issues of the Association. On the basis of the Decision of the Warsaw District Court, issued on 3 January 2001, a list of all the Board members of the Association was included in the Register of Associations. This fact allows the members of the Board to represent legally and fully the Association and to undertake financial obligations. Apart from that, the Association was included into the Home Register of National Economic Units, and a decision on granting a tax identification number has been issued. The Association`s separate bank account has been opened. Also, a trust-deed has been signed with an accountancy agency and accountancy books have been opened. At the end of the report I would like to thank all the members of the Association for their efforts and hard work. I would like to give my special thanks to the members of the Association, including Agnieszka Bolesta, Artur Michalski, and Konrad Tomaszewski. Many special thanks go to Bogumila Michalska and Jan Rylke. Without their engagement and enthusiasm our activity would hardly be possible. Also, it would not be possible to imagine our work without the help of Ks. Dr Eugeniusz Marciniak - who was always ready to work for the Association. Prof. Jan Szyszko President of the Association
